KICKHAMS CAMOGIE.

AGM

Our AGM was held in the Kickham Clubrooms Dundrum on Tuesday January 13th and the following officers were elected: Chairman Mitchell Heffernan;

Secretary Noreen Marnane; Treasurer Aileen O'Mara; County Board Rep Catherine Hayes and PRO Liza Roche. It was decided at the meeting to enter a

U/14 side in addition to last year’s teams. All team managers were also appointed on the night. It was also decided to hold an Open/Registration

Night on Friday March 13th next in the Club Rooms. There will be further details available closer to the date. We would like to take this

opportunity to thank all those who attended the meeting and offered to help. There are still some helpers required and we would appreciate any

and all assistance offered.

CAMOGIE CALENDAR.

The Calendar which celebrates Camogie in the the parish over the past four decades proved to be a huge hit. Containing over

sixty photographs from 1985 right up to the present day it features a number of mother and daughters and aunts and nieces.

There is a limited availability of the Calendar so anyone wishing to obtain a copy please contact Margaret O'Carroll on

0872465340 or Liza Roche on 0868640836.

HOSPICE/CANCER WALK.

The Annual sponsored walk in aid of South Tipperary Hospice and the Irish Cancer Society which took place on St Stephens Day in Dundrum was

another tremendous success, with a great turnout on the day. South Tipperary Hospice was presented with 1,000 euro and the Irish Cancer Society

received 625 euro. Thanks to all those who took part, and  or sponsored on the day. A special word of thanks to DJ & Marie Butler of Butlers

Centra Dundrum for their very generous sponsorship of refreshments to all the participants.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL

TABLE TENNIS

are invited to come along to Knockavilla hall to play. On Thursday nights, anyone aged from 15 to 99 are welcome to take part

from 8pm to 9pm. €1 per person. We now have 3 tables on the go, so plenty of games for everyone.
