We have updated our website www.kdkickhams.tipperary.gaa.ie We will continue to include up to date results & fixtures for all clubs teams as well as all other club activities. Club social.
The club social will be held in the Venue Dundrum on Saturday the 5th of February , Tickets @ 20 euro can be purchased from any club officer or from local shops. Medals will be presented to the JHB team which won the West championship and music will be provided by Wall Street. Meal is timed for 8pm.

Hospice Walk.

The walk in aid of the South Tipperary Hospice which was held on St Stephens Day raised 4,250 euro for this very worthy cause. Sincerest thanks to all who took part or supported it in any way. We hope to hold another walk  next Christmas so get your walking shoes out and start training.

Social evening.

Dundrum Active Retirement Group meet each Wednesday evening at the Old Court House Dundrum from 7pm to 9pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet old friends, have a cup of tea and a chat or enjoy a game of cards. This service is provided by volunteers who are more than happy to give of their time to help keep the community spirit alive and well in the area. But we need more of you to come on the nights to ensure its continuance, so come on down and  you will not be disappointed.

 

Book launch

A new book entitled ‘Micheál Mac Cárthaigh – Fíor-Ghael Thiobraid Árann’ was launched on Tuesday night the 14th Dec. in Brú
Ború, Cashel @ 7.30pm under the auspices of Conradh na Gaeilge. The book, which features lectures and addresses given by Micheál over many years, has been compiled by Dónal Ó Muirgheasa O.S., former Principal of Knockavilla N.S. and will be on sale @ €10.

Knockavilla /Donaskeigh Youth Club.

Knockavilla/Donaskeigh Youth Club continues every Friday night in Knockavilla Community centre from 7 pm to 8.30pm. The first few weeks have been  great fun for all concerned. The club is open to 8-12 year olds attending  primary school.
