Timber sale

Kickhams GAA club will hold a  Firewood auction on Sunday the 28th of November in Pairc Ui Ciocaim Dundrum beginning at 1.30pm. We are asking landowners or anyone with access to firewood to donate same to the club. We are also willing to go to lands and cut up any firewood that is made available. Family day/Sale of work

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the club a fun family day is being organised for Sunday the 28th of November in The Scout Centre Dundrum. Many events are planned for the day including bouncy Castles, blitz, face painting, Pony rides, fancy dress, Puc fada, cross bar challenge to name but a few. There will also be a wheel of fortune and a cake sale and club gear will also be on sale, orders will be taken for Christmas. so a great day will be had by all.All involved in the club are asked to come on board to make this a very successful day.

Book stall.
Also it is hoped to have a book stall in operation on the day. All unwanted books in good condition would be greatly appreciated. More details next week.

Camogie notes.
Clothing collection.
A reminder that  the bagged clothing collection which acts as a fundraiser for the Camogie club will be held at 12pm on Saturday next the 30th of October in the Clubrooms at Pairc Ui Ciocaim. All clothing should be clean and in good condition. Thank you.

Seniors Social Club.

It is hoped  to start a Dundrum Seniors Club that would basically involve senior citizens  meeting once a week at the Old courthouse in Dundrum for a coffee/tea and scone, for a chat, cards, art etc, if you are interested or know a relative or friend who might be interested please contact Margaret on 087 6883884.

Knockavilla /Donaskeigh Youth Club.

Knockavilla/Donaskeigh Youth Club continues every Friday night in Knockavilla Community centre from 7 pm to 8.30pm. The first few weeks have been  great fun for all concerned. The club is open to 8-12 year olds attending  primary school.
