Our Minor football team had their first outing of the year on Wed night against clonoulty, loosing out by a single point

2.06 to 2.05, The boys play Cashel next wed 9th in Dundrum @ 6.30pm

U12 BLITZ

Congratulations and well done to our two U12 teams who both defeated Fethard and Moyle Rovers on Saturday morning last. We

were delighted to see so such a great turn out and while we were missing a number of players  we hope to see them all back

on Friday night at a new training time of 7pm-8pm in the outside field in Dundrum.

 

CAKE SALE

Thanks again to all who donated and bought cakes at our recent Cake Sale in Donaskeigh at which over €400 was raised.

 

TRAINING

Training will resume for all ages on Friday night next in the hurling field at the new time of 7pm-8pm.  The Club is

delighted with the numbers that have been turning up at the Scout Hall in recent weeks and hope that this will continue

and new members are always welcome. We also welcome any help that is offered and because we are lucky enough to have such

large numbers we are inviting parents to assist at training.

 

FUNCTION.

A function  to celebrate Jack Crowe's 40 years service as a Co. Counciller in South Tipperary will take place in Dundrum

House Hotel on Easter Sunday night the  20th of April.More details nearer the event.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL

FACE BOOK.

Knockavilla Community Council now has a Face book page where you can keep up to date with all the activities involving the

community council and the hall in Knockavilla.

 

DEFIBRILLATOR COLLECTION

 The Community Council are continuing their campaign to collect all used mobile phones to help us to get a defibrillator

put in place in Knockavilla village. There are collection boxes in all the local shops in Knockavilla and Dundrum, and

also in Knockavilla church to facilitate the collections.

 

HALL AVAILABLE

 The community hall in Knockavilla is now available for hire for any activity either for parish groups or to families for

various occasions. The committee can also facilitate the use of an indoor bouncy castle for children’s birthday parties.

ENROLEMENT FOR 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR.

St. Brigid's NS Donaskeigh are currently enrolling pupils for the school year 2014/15. Enrollment forms are available at

KNOCK PILGRIMAGE.

The Annual sodality pilgrimage to Knock Holy Shrine will take place on the 27th and 28th of May. More details in the coming

weeks.

TABLE QUIZ

Knockavilla National School Parents Association will hold a table quiz  in the Venue, Dundrum House Hotel on Friday 4th

April at 9pm, to raise funds for school tour buses. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

 

ENROLMENT FOR 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR

Parents/Guardians who are interested in enrolling their child/children in Scoil Mhuire National School Knockavilla are

requested to contact the school office at 062 71533 for application forms. Completed forms should be returned to the school

office by March 31st. Parents will be notified of the Information/Familiarisation Meeting and the Parents’ Association Fun
