JUNIOR (A) HURLING.

Our Juniors and Clonoulty Rossmore played out a cracking game of hurling in Clonoulty on Saturday evening , but our lads were beaten on the score
3-19 to 4-11. See match reporting The Nationalist.

JUVENILE GAA.
U/12 HURLING.

We had two U12 teams taking part in Co. Semi finals on last Saturday afternoon in Holycross . First up was the U/12(B) team who were to play
Burgess, but the North team did not take to the field and though the ref threw in the ball and awarded the game to Kickhams, it is not clear at
time of writing what the eventual outcome will be. The second game saw our U/12 (A) team take on a strong Eire Og Nenagh team. Both teams would
have had expectations of reaching the Co. Final and as expected a cracking game ensued. Playing with the breeze Nenagh took their scores and were
leading by 2-5 to 1-0 at the break. But our lads are made of stern stuff and came roaring out in the second half to score 1-6 to Nenaghs 0-1 and
send the game into extra time. With both teams trying their very best it was the boys in the black and amber of the Kickhams who emerged victorious
and progressed to the Final which it seems will be played this coming weekend. For news of both our U/12 teams please contact any of the Juvenile
Club officers or team selectors, and get out and shout the Kickhams to victory.

CAMOGIE
MOIRA CAHILL CAMOGIE BLITZ

The 8th Annual Moira Cahill Memorial Blitz took place on Saturday 17 August in Dundrum . The day started with a parade of sixteen U10 teams from
all around Tipperary. A great trail of colour and banners from all the clubs marched into Kickham Park behind piper Tadgh Ryan. After the official
opening by the chairman Kevin McCarty the games started with four groups of four and the top team in each group qualifying for the Semi-Finals.
Silvermines played Holycross in one Semi-Final and Nenagh Eire Og played Knockavilla Kickhams . Silvermines and Kickhams won these to reach the
final. The Final was very intense with scores coming from both teams but kickhams had the edge at halftime two scores to one. After the break
silvermines had the wind in their back and proved the stronger in this half and emerged winners after a hard fought match by both sides, four
scores to two at the final whistle.Moira’s two daughters Laura and Sinead congratulated both sides on a wonderful display of Camogie and presented
the Moira Cahill Cup to the Silvermines team. Well Done to all who helped in any way to make this such a success . A total of €337.90 was raised on
the day for the South Tipperary Hospice, ‘thanks to all’

BADMINTON.
You will know we are starting to head for the long dark evenings when you read that Badminton is resuming in the Scout Centre Dundrum from Monday
the 2nd of September. There is no better way to shorten those nights, have a bit of craic and maybe get a little fitter than take up Badminton,
The club nights are Monday and Thursday from 8pm and new members are very welcome and badly needed to ensure the survival of the club.
