JUNIOR (A) HURLING.
Our junior A hurlers played very well and held off a spirited Emly side to win on the score of 0-18 to 1-14 in this must win game in Annacarty on
Sunday last. See match report in the sports pages of the Nationalist. The juniors will play Clonoulty in Annacarthy next Sunday.

BEST WISHES.
We wish clubman Fergal Horgan and his officials the very best when he takes charge of the All Ireland minor hurling semi final between Limerick
and Galway on Sunday next in Croke Park.

WEST FINAL.
As you are aware the Kickham club hosted the West senior Hurling final between Clonoulty Rossmore and Eire Og Annacarty Donohill in Pairc Ui
Ciocaim on Saturday evening last. We would like to sincerely thank all those who helped out in any way to make the night such a great success.
Particularly field caretakers, the stewards, programme and lotto sellers, Sound system supplier, the catering ladies, The advertisers in our
match programme and you the GAA supporter for turning out in such large numbers for what was a cracking game.We congratulate Eire Og on their
long awaited victory and commiserate with Clonoulty Rossmore on the end of a long unbeaten final run.

JUVENILE GAA.
U/12 HURLING.
We had two U12 teams taking part in West finals on Sunday evening in Annacarty . The U/12 panel have had a great year so far winning the Co (A)
Football crown earlier in the Summer, and we had 4 teams contesting the West hurling semi final stage at A B C & D levels, with the A & B teams
progressing to their respective finals. It was hoped that both teams would be successful with the A’s starting as favourites against Cashel and
the B’s facing a daunting task against an unbeaten Emly side. Well both teams hurled out of their skins on the night and were deserving winners.
They are both out in Co. Semi final action this coming weekend so your support would be greatly appreciated.

BADMINTON.
You will know we are starting to head for the long dark evenings when you read that Badminton is resuming in the Scout Centre Dundrum from Monday
the 2nd of September. There is no better way to shorten those nights, have a bit of craic and maybe get a little fitter than take up Badminton,
The club nights are Monday and Thursday from 8pm and new members are very welcome and badly needed to ensure the survival of the club.
