CAMOGIE NEWS.

Our U12 team travelled to Ballingarry last Saturday to play the home side . We started strong scoring first but failed to convert our possession into scores. Under bad field conditions our girls
played super camogie and gave it their all. Unfortunately we came up short at full time by one single point 1-02 to 1-03 . This result see our girls out of the competition and finished for this
season. They all enjoyed their treat to McDonalds on way home. Well Done Girls!

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The first of this year`s  primary schools discos will take place this Sunday October 28th in Knockavilla Community hall from 8pm to 9.30pm. All children are welcome, and as it will be Halloween weekend, children can dress up in their Halloween costumes.  Admission is €3 per child.

The work on the hall is moving along on schedule with the new heating system installed, and the necessary plastering now completed. Our next big project is to paint the interior of the hall, walls,
ceiling and doors. With this in mind, the Council are looking for any volunteers who could spare 2 hours on Saturday November 4th to get this work done. We will be operating a 2 hour rota system,
10am to noon, noon to 2pm, 2pm to 4pm and 4pm to 6pm. If you can help in any of these time slots please contact Kieran Slattery, or any member of the Council. All you need to bring is a paint
brush, and step ladder if available. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Just a reminder to all visitors to St. Senan`s cemetery in Knockavilla, to please ensure the entrance gates are closed prior to leaving the graveyard.
