Co. Board Draw winners.
Heartiest congrats go to Howard and Kay Beardmore Deerpark on their great second prize win in the Tipperary GAA County board draw on Friday night last. We also had two cash prize winners in Pat & Liz Higgins Grantstown and Pat & Noreen McCormack Friarsfield and we also send our congratulations to them. The Tipperary GAA Co. Board draw is not only a great value draw but it is also a major fundraiser for your club with 50% of all subs going back to the club. There are still 9 monthly draws left, all with fantastic prizes, so if you are interested contact any club officer for details.

Best of Luck lads.
We, along with all Premier folk, will be cheering on our two County Hurling teams when they play in the All Ireland Semi finals in Croke Park on Sunday next. In particular we want to wish our own club man Brian Horgan who is a selector on the minor team and his charges the very best on the day. Both the teams will face huge challenges from Kilkenny and Galway but we know that they will do their very best to emerge victorious on the day. Ar aghaidh le Tiobraid Árann.

U12 West Finals:

Two of our three U/12 hurling teams were in action last Sunday in the A and D West-Finals in Sean Treacy Park, Tipperary.
First up was our (C) team against a strong Cashel side.  This match saw great skill and determination from both teams and Kickhams came out victorious 1-06 to 0-04.  Accurate scoring from Josh Browne proved crucial on the day. A delighted Captain Alan O`Brien recieved the trophy amid great scenes of jubiliation. Congratulations to all concerned.
Team: Declan Kennedy, Alan O`Brien Capt, Michael Breen, Brian Buckley, Jordan Horgan, Sam Nolan, Caoimhe McCarthy, Ruben Burke, Ben Loughman, Josh Browne, Cathal Duggan, Jack Ryan, Colm O`Rourke.

The next match saw our (A) team up against a much fancied Cashel team.  Our boys played great hurling showing all their skills but were unlucky to concede a soft goal just before half-time.  Down 1-04 to 0-02  our boys who were minus a few of their regulars dug deep coming back with two goals and two points in the second half and conceding only three points.  They were unlucky not to get a few scores near full time , but they just came up short losing by just two points in the end. Our boys can hold their heads high; they did themselves and the club proud. Well Done Lads! Team: Alan Butler, Lorcan Carr, Turlough Breen, Hugo Burke, Brendan Ryan, Aaron Browne, Cathal Carr, Joe Fitzgerald Capt., Ciaran Ryan, Shane Farrell, Devon Ryan, Eddie Daly, Sam Nolan.
