SYMPATHY
We extend our deepest sympathies to Serina, Conor and Catherina Horan on the death on the 10th of January of their beloved and devoted father,
John, late of Bishopswood and Gurteenamoe. Since their childhood the three of them have been very involved on the field of play with the Kickham’s
in hurling, football and camogie and their performances for the club must have been a great source of pride to John and their late mother
Catherine (Nee O’Connor). We also offer our condolences to John’s brothers and sisters as well as the extended Horan and O’Connor families on their
sad loss. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL
COMMUNITY TEXT ALERT SYSTEM
There has been a fantastic response to the text alert scheme being set up in the parish. Already there are over 200
householders signed up. The once off payment from each householder is €10. Over the next few days, committee members will
be calling back to every home collecting the signed form and the contribution fee. We would ask that these would be ready
when the members call, this way we can proceed with setting up the data base needed for the text messages. The next public
meeting takes place tomorrow, Thursday January 10th at 8pm in Knockavilla hall. Anyone that hasn`t yet singed up, and
wishes to do so, please come along to the hall where application forms will be available.
