SEAT FOR LIFE INFORMATION
In 2011, Kilrossanty GAA formed a Finance Committee.  The objective of the Committee was to raise funds and further improve the facilities for Players and Spectators alike.  As part of this the Committee launched a two phased project consisting of the erection of a Spectator Stand.  A very successful recycled scrap metal fundraiser helped us raise sufficient funds to commence Phase one of the stand consisting of the walls and roof this has now been completed.
To enable us to complete Phase two of this project, the fundraising committee conceived the idea of a “Seat for Life” scheme, where by club members, members of the public and Kilrossanty GAA supporters across the globe, could be represented at the Club in a unique way.
It’s our chance to honour our fellow club men and women, living and dead, who have shaped GAA in this Club and county. Naming a seat in our new stand will ensure that a family’s contribution and support are witnessed by all throughout the County and further afield who visit the club.
For each Seat for Life purchased, an inscription of the purchasers chosen words will be placed on the Stand wall permanently for everyone to see.
When the Seat for Life scheme is fully subscribed, we will be in a position to complete Phase two without drawing on Club funds, which are needed for the day to day running of the Club.
This scheme is a very ambitious one and we fully understand the financial pressures people are under at this time.  Each seat dedication in the new Stand costs €100 or two payments of €50. Purchases can be made by completing the “Seat for Life” leaflet which you can get from any committee member or you can go to www.kilrossanty.waterford.gaa.ie and download the booking form or check us out on facebook.
There has always been great support in Kilrossanty and the people always get behind the club when we try to develop and progress as they did over the last 5 years when we installed floodlights a scoreboard, public toilets, and a gymnasium I suppose that’s why the club in a few years time will be 130 yrs old because of the tradition and the family’s who have lived their lives around Kilrossanty Gaa in the parish.
