Jackpot Next (Saturday) night €4500 to be held in Micilins bar as part of the Comeragh Queen Festival

DEISE DRAW.  
 The Club had one winner in the Deise Draw last Friday night. A promoter’s prize of 50 Euros was won in the draw. The next draw will be held in Clonea on August 31st,
 
COMERAGH QUEEN FESTIVAL. 
 The Comeragh Queen Festival will be held from 2nd to 6th August. It starts on Thursday with a fun quiz in Micilins at 9.30. 100 Euros to the winners sponsored by Garvin Troy Plant Hire. Ladies and Gents captains prizes sponsored by Michael Coffey Agr Contractor. Teams of four 30.00.
 
FRIDAY; Sports evening in the G.A.A Field at 6.30. Numerous side shows including crazy golf, guess the weight of the lamb, Steady Hand, penalty shoot out, guess sweets in jar, etc. Also races for all under age boys and girls. A great evening assured. Refreshments in the field.
 
SATURDAY; under age match Kilrossanty V Stradbally for Mary power Cup at 6.30, Junior Football Match V Old Parish at 7.45 for O Donnell Cup and 100 Euros to the winners sponsored by Crottys Inn. Clotto will be held in Micilins on the night with BBQ and music on the night.
 
SUNDAY.
Crazy night in Crottys later that night Mr and Mrs Competition, waltzing competition, pint drinking. Door prize for weekend away, there will also be a raffle on the night. Dancing to Gerry Walsh and band 7.50 Admission.
 
MONDAY; Grand finale of Comeragh Queen Festival with the crowning of the Comeragh Queen 2012.  12 queens on stage. John O Shea wlr will be M.C on the night. Dancing to Paddy O Brien and his band at 9.30. Lorna Ferncombe Waterford contestant in Rose of Tralee will be the guest on the night.
 
SYMPATHY; 
 Sympathy to the Barry family Kilrossanty on the death of Peter Queally Dunmore East, also sympathy to Peter’s family on their sad loss. Peter was brother of the late Mary Barry Kilrossanty who died recently. May he rest in peace. 
 
 Underage Notes
TrainingTraining this week Friday 3rd  August is cancelled as ‘The Comeragh Queen Festival’ – ‘Field Evening’  is being held at 6.30pm which includes Sports, Side Shows etc all are welcome so please come along and take part. Cul Camp The Kellogg’s Cul camp was held last week in the club and a great week was had by all, the weather held up and the children were delighted with their coaches and of course with the visit by one of Waterford’s Great Hurlers – John Mullane.  Thanks to John and to Gavin O’Brien for all the signing and questions and answers session also.
