Ladies

November 8, 2018

The senior ladies were well beaten by Ardara in the first league game of the season. Overall it was a very poor performance form the girls and hopefully they will improve in the future. Next game is away to Naomh Conaill on Sunday 18th April at 12 midday. Training continues on Wednesdays at 730pm.

Under 16 girls had an impressive win over Robert Emmet’s in their first league game of the season on Thursday last.

The under 14 girls were defeated by a very strong and skilful Mac Cumhaills team in a league game on Friday last. In what was a very committed team performance the girls continued to give it their all until the final whistle.  Victoria Kelly, Niamh Woods, Sarah Allan and Rebecca Prunty were best for the St. Mary’s. The girls also took part in the under 14 Feile on Saturday 10th April in Castlefin. They were placed in a very strong group paired with St. Eunan’s, Mac Cumhaills and Robert Emmet’s. Although the girls were defeated in all three games the girls will learn a lot form the experience.

Panel: Katie O Donnell, Jessica Mc Gill, Aileen Mc Gill, Arlene Bonner, Katie Reid, Caoimhe Browne, Sarah Allan, Gabrielle Duffy, Danielle Harkin, Aine Gallagher, Nicola Bonner, Niamh Woods, Michaela Bonner, Ciara Mc Daid, Rebecca Prunty (c), Erica Wilson, Emer Gibson, Shannon Doherty, Ciara Harper, Eilish Mc Caffrey, Victoria Kelly.
