Edenderry 2-11. Ballycumber 3–7.
Having withstood an Edenderry onslaught at the start of the game, which fortunately only yielded a point, Ballycumber rallied when Eddie Larkin raced up the field to score a point and was followed by similar scores from Lorcan Halligan and Nicholas Egan . Lorcan finished a great move to the net and Simon Casey punched in a cross from Peter Dunne to leave the half time score at 2-4 to 0-6. Edenderry started the second half with a good goal and added two points. Lorcan and Sean Hackett tacked on three points before Peter Dunne won the ball out the field and weaved his way through the defence to blast an unstopable shot to the net.Unfortunately a soft penalty was awarded and a couple of frees saw the home side winning by the slenderest margin. This was a very good performance against a very strong side. Team.
