Glenflesk played host to Rathmore in the opening round of the County U14 Football League Div 3 on Thursday last. This proved to be an exciting and high-scoring game of football with the result hanging in the balance until the final whistle.

Glenflesk started brightly but two goals for Rathmore late in the first half ensured there wa…s only two points between the teams at half time.

A strong team performance by Rathmore in the second half, with Timmy Doherty and Anthony Darmody to the fore, proved enough to claim the points on a scoreline of Glenflesk 3-15 to Rathmore 6-08. Rathmore's next match is in Rathbeg vs Kerins O'Rahillys on Wednesday, April 9th at 7pm
