Edenderry Junior Hurlers will represent Offaly in this competition for the second year running. Last year Edenderry marched all the way to the final only to lose out to St Sylvesters of Dublin.
Edenderry will have their eye on another final appearance again this year however Kilcock will provide a tough opening game for them. Edenderry were beaten by 2 points in the Div 3 League semi-final at the weekend by Ballinamere but the game after such a long break will stand to them next day out.
