Liam Mellows GAA Club recently teamed up with the West of Ireland Cardiology foundation, Croí, to purchase a defibrillator. The purchase of this equipment was to ensure the increased safety of club members.
As recent studies have shown that with the use of a defribillator within 3 minutes of cardiac arrest can result in over a 70% chance of survival, Liam Mellows GAA Club felt the purchase was essential.
A representative from each club team will be trained up on its use on Saturday, September 16th. For more information, please contact individual team management.
