You can now play the Limerick FC Club Lotto online. The first weekly draw will take place on February 11th in The Strand Hotel, when there will be a jackpot prize of €1000 up for grabs. Limerick FC Pre-Season & Training Camp

Limerick FC began their pre-season training on Saturday the 16th of January and the League of Ireland season begins in the first week in March.  The Limerick FC squad will hold a pre-season training camp on 19-21 February at Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar, Co Mayo.

The weekend will consist of an intensive programme of exercises to improve individual and team fitness and skill, as well as a friendly match against Galway UTD at nearby Milebush Park, home of the Mayo Association Football League.

Limerick FC will play pre-season friendly matches against Premier Division teams St Patrick’s Athletic.

Limerick FC are delighted to announce the signing of highly promising 17 year old Ian Moore. For the Pallaskenry natives family this was a particularly proud moment as his father Pat was a former committee member of Limerick FC and his Grandfather Paddy was a founding member of Hyde Rangers AFC. Ian joined Pat Scully and the rest of the Limerick FC squad for pre-season training over the weekend and was delighted to sign for the club having grown up massive supporter of the Super Blues where he was ballboy on a number of occasions. His father Pat recalled that Ian would always run onto the pitch at half-time with a ball to score in the Limerick goals, now he has the chance to do it for real.
Ian spent last season in Cork where he was part of the Cork City soccer FAS scheme. Ian will go straight into the A-Championship squad and will also be eligible for the Limerick FC under 19 squad whos League Of Ireland campaign will begin during the summer.
The signing of Ian Moore further strenghtens the current squad who will be challenging strongly for honours on six fronts this coming season. Coming fresh on the heels of the signatures of Shane Clarke and Jeffrey Judge the future looks very bright indeed for Limerick FC. Limerick FCs policy of bringing the most talented young players in the region to the club is sure to reap rewards in the near future.
While Pat Scully will be concentrating on winning promotion back to the top tier of Irish football he will also be keeping a very close eye on the development of all the young players at his disposal over the coming few months.
Limerick FCs first piece of competitive action this season will take place this coming Saturday at 1 o’clock in the UL Arena when the National Futsal tournament gets under way. Cork City provide the opposition for the Limerick Futsal team who are coached by Barry Lynch. The Limerick FC squad will be include some of the younger players and give many of them their first chance to impress in the Blue jersey.

Limerick FC is also delighted to announce that Joe Adibekov (Lourdes Celtic) has signed with the Club for the 2010 season.
