Had you three numbers at any stage during 2008in the Mayo Gaels GAA club lotto. If so then you will be in the drum for the end of year 3-number draw which takes place at the Christmas Monday night draw. At present 75 tickets have qualified for the bonus draw. This is a reward for someone who just missed out on the jackpot during the year. At present the jackpot has now reached € 11,400.

‘Mayo Abbey Childhood Memories’ A book written by members of Mayo Abbey Active Retirement is on sale in Mayo Abbey Resource centre. Cost €10. The centre is open 9-00 to 6-00 Monday to Friday.
DEATHS
The death has taken place of Frank Brett, Mossbrook. Sympathy is extended to his sister-in-law, Imelda Brett, Shinnanagh. His nephews and their families, Joe Brett Shinnanagh, Alan Brett and Joe Brett Lehanagh. The death also took place recently of John Devaney, Brownhall. Sympathy is extended to his brother Martin, Athlone. Sister Julia Reilly, Castlebar, nephews and nieces.
