Senior Hurling: Lorrha’s second game in the Co. Senior League is against Golden-Kilfeacle and is fixed for Easter Sunday next, 23 March in Moatfield at 2pm.

Minor & Under 16: Training continues on Good Friday evening at 6pm sharp

Under 14: Training continues in Moatfield on Saturday at 11am.

Under 12: Training continues in Moatfield on Saturday at 11am.

Under 10: Training continues in Moatfield on Saturday at 11am.

Membership: Membership for 2008 is now available. €30 – Adult Players; €20 – Non Playing Adults; €15 – Minor/College Students and Juveniles (with match ticket entry); €10 – Juveniles (without match ticket entry). All membership is payable to club registrar Jack Maher or any committee member.
The membership prize winners for the month of March were as follows: Player: Donal Kennedy (Meal for Two); Non-Playing Adult: Ann-Delahunt Smyth (Bottle of Whiskey); Minor/College: William Maher (membership refund); Juvenile: Allanah Clancy (GK Sports Voucher; Camogie: Caoimhe Kennedy (Hatter Box set).

Schools: Congratulations to Ciaran Haugh, Graham Houlihan, Brendan Fogarty and Eoin O’Meara who were all on the Borrisokane CC team that reached the All Ireland Vocational Schools Hurling Final after an extra time win over Athenry VS on Saturday last. The Final will take place on 12 April.

Tipp Draw: All outstanding money from the 2007/2008 draw should be paid as soon as possible.

Club Final: Congratulations to Portumna and commiserations to Birr following the All Ireland Club Final on St. Patrick’s Day. It was a terrific game and provided great entertainment.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 10 March were: 5 – 12 – 13 – 29. No Winner.
The Lucky Dips were: Darina Kelly, Michael Brophy, Eamon Mannion, Josie Dermody and Jim Duffy. The Winning Promoters were: The Friars Tavern, Noel Hogan and Pat Hough.

Old Time Dancing: There will be no Dance on this Friday night as it is Good Friday. It returns as usual on the following Friday to the music of Eamon Robinson.
