Junior A: Kildangan 2-12 Lorrha 1-6
Lorrha have been forced into a quarter final playoff after a disappointing performance saw us fall to Kildangan in Puckane on Friday evening. The concession of an early goal did not help out chances but we hung in the game and trailed by five points at half time. We could not claw back the lead and the home side went onto record a comfortable win.
Team: David Sullivan, Dermot Power, Tom Madden, Diarmaid Mannion; Graham Houlihan, Enda Moran, Donal Kennedy; Brendan Fogarty, Ronan King; Eoin O’Meara, Liam Carroll, John Lambe, Eoin Gormally, Patrick Hough, William Hough. Subs: Sean Cleary, James O’Meara.
Lorrha will play either Roscrea or Kildangan in a playoff game this week.

Under 21: Lorrha 1-14 Kildangan 1-9
Lorrha qualified for the semi-finals of the Under 21 B Hurling Championship with a five point success in Ballinderry on Tuesday last. This was a terrific performance, full of spirit hard work and skill. Lorrha took a seven points to five lead to the break but the concession of a goal from a penalty early in the second half did not deter the lads and a Jack Maher goal late in the game coupled with two points from his brother Patrick helped Lorrha to victory.
