Lorrha GAA News for 1 December

November 8, 2018

Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €4,350. Thank you for your continued support. You can also play our lotto online at www.myclubfinances.com where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.
Auction: The annual Auction will take place on Sunday, 16th December. The Auction has been a huge success since it was restarted two years ago. Pledges of timber, turf, briquettes, farm produce, fodder, vouchers, cakes, buns, beer, spirits, electrical goods, furniture would be appreciated. We will be grateful for any items that can be lawfully turned into euros, so we are hoping that all club members and supporters will make some donation to the Sale or Auction. Club members, supporters and players are also asked to canvass their friends, neighbours and business acquaintances for any item big or small that can be sold or auctioned.
Shane Brophy (0876989612) is co-ordinating the timber operations, so if you can donate a tree or a load of timber you can make contact with him. The adult hurlers will be on hand to cut, split and load the timber so if you would like to pledge a tree we would ask you to do so as soon as possible so we can begin the cutting.
We will also have having indoor stalls and anyone who would like to book a stall can contact Sean Mannion (087-3643031).
AGM: The date of the Annual General Meeting of Lorrha GAA Club has been changed to Tuesday, 18th December at 8.00pm. If you would like to receive the form by post, please contact Shane Brophy

Tony Hogan Fund: A Benefit Night for Tony Hogan will take place in the Clubhouse on St Stephen’s Night. It will end a day of events, which will include a 7’s hurling tournament earlier in the day.
