Auction: Thank you to all those who supported our Auction which was a great success once again last Sunday. All 62 lots of timber, farm produce and other items were all sold. Thank you to Michael O'Meara who was an excellent auctioneer.
Medal Presentation: The Under 21, Junior, Under 12 & Under 11 hurlers, and Junior Camogie team will receive their North & County medals for 2017 at a Presentation Night in Moatfield next Saturday 10th February from 8.30pm. Music by Joe Casey & Co. All are welcome to attend.
Membership: for 2018 is now due. €90 – Adult player; €50 – Minor/College student; €30 – Non-playing Adult (+€70 extra for gym membership); €20 – Juvenile (16 & under); €90 – Family (2 adults & 2 children, capped at €100 for three or more children).
Closing date for membership for all adult and juvenile players is the last day of February while the closing date for all membership is 31st March. It is important to remember that our total number of adult members by 31st March is the number the County Board will use towards our ticket allocations for Tipperary games so it is in your interest to have membership paid by then. Membership can be paid to registrar Louise Mannion or online at www.locallotto.ie.
Refereeing: A foundation course, organised by Tipperary County Board for new referees, will take place over four nights in February. Please contact North Referees Coordinator Philip Kelly for further info 0872863683.
Senior: Lorrha have been grouped with Ballina, Holycross/Ballycahill and Moycarkey/Borris in the group stages of the Seamus O Riain Cup. The first round will be played on weekend 7-8 April with the remaining two games when the championship resumes in August or September.
The North Championship game against Kilruane MacDonaghs will be on 31 March-1 April.
The County League is scheduled to start on weekend 3-4 March and Lorrha have been grouped with Kilruane MacDonaghs, Burgess, Holycross/Ballycahill, JK Brackens and Newport.
Under 12: Football training commences next Monday, 12th February in Moatfield at 7.00pm
Tipperary Clubs Draw: The club had now winners in the February draw held last Friday night.
