Lorrha GAA News for 10 October

Under 21 Hurling: The U21 hurlers were given a walkover by Templederry in the first round of the Championship. The team played JK Brackens in a challenge game and prove to be a useful workout.

We will now play Shannon Rovers Gaels in the first round proper in Ballingarry on Sunday, 11th October at 11.30am.

Under 16: Hard luck to the Lorrha/Shannon Rovers Gaels Under 16's in their County 'B' Hurling final defeat to Gortnahoe/Glengoole in Annacarty on Saturday, 2-13 to 1-8. The club would like to thank the mentors and players for their efforts this year as well as all representatives from Lorrha, Shannon Rovers and Knockshegowna for making the amalgamation work smoothly throughout the year, highlighted by a North title.

Race Night: The club will be hosting a fundraising Race Night in the GAA Centre on Saturday, 24th October. We will be selling horses over the coming weeks and your support would be appreciated.

Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw: The Club has no winner in the October Draw held last Friday night.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Pat & Richie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am. Practice every Monday night from 8.30-10.30pm.
