Lorrha GAA News for 11 March

Senior: Lorrha will play JK Brackens in Templemore in the first round of the County League Division 2B on Sunday 12th March at 12 noon.

We wish a speedy recovery to Brian Hogan who picked up an ankle injury training with Tipperary last week.

Under 16: Lorrha Rovers game with Inane Rovers was postponed last Saturday due to the inclement weather. They have a bye this weekend

Under 12: Lorrha are due to begin their North 'B' Football Championship campaign this Saturday 11th March v Templederry in Moatfield at 12 noon.

Poker Classic: The club are holding our annual Poker Classic in Moatfield on this Saturday 11th March in the GAA Centre, with registration from 9.00pm onwards. Entry fee is €20 with a prize fund of €1,500 pro rata. Tickets are now on sale from players and committee members.

Membership: for 2017 is now due. €90 – Adult player; €50 – Minor/College student; €30 – Non-playing Adult (+€70 extra for gym membership); €20 – Juvenile (16 and under); €90 – Family (2 adults and 2 children, capped at €100 for three or more children). All players (juvenile and adult must have their membership paid before matches begin)

Closing date for membership is 31st March as number the County Board will use towards our ticket allocations for Tipperary games so it is in your interest to have membership paid by then. Membership can be paid to club registrar Louise Mannion or can also be done online at www.locallotto.ie. Members can also log onto www.grma.gaa.ie to get their new GAA Rewards card.

Tipperary Draw: The club had no winner in the March draw held last Friday. As the 2016/2017 draw is coming to a close in April, we ask all promoters and subscribers to bring their accounts up to date.

Lotto: Our jackpot is €4,650 with a Match 3 pot of €100. You can play online at www.locallotto.ie.

Social Dancing: on Friday night with Brendan McGee. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
