Tipperary GAA Clubs’ Draw: Thank you to all that subscribed to the 2012-2013 Tipperary GAA Club’s Draw through the club for the coming year. We have managed to increase our subscriptions by over 20% which is tremendous considering the Car Draw fundraiser which was held earlier in the year. Thanks to all our promoters who went out and signed up new members. You can still join the draw at any time during the year.
Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €17,650. Thank you for your continued support. You can also play our lotto online at www.myclubfinances.com where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.
Senior: The senior team ended their North Championship campaign on a high with a 2-18 to 2-10 win over Borrisokane in Cloughjordan on Sunday evening. See match report. It was an encouraging display and performance ahead of the start of the County Championship which is likely to begin on weekend 30 June/1 July.
Junior Hurling: The Junior ‘A’s suffered a 2-14 to 0-7 defeat to Kildangan in the first round of the North Championship in Borrisokane on Friday evening. A heavily depleted side, due to exams, Lorrha battled hard throughout. Lorrha’s next game is against Nenagh Eire Óg.
Under 12: The U12’s lost out to Solohead in the semi-finals of the Premier 12s Football End Games in Templetuohy last Wednesday evening. This brings to an end their football campaign in which the team played superbly well.
In the Premier 12s hurling, Lorrha made it two wins from two when they beat Portroe in Moatfield on Friday evening. The team has a bye this week.
Tipperary: Well done to manager Ken Hogan plus players William Maher and Cian Hogan and to the Tipperary Under 21 hurling on their Munster quarter final win over Cork last Wednesday.
Tipperary Tickets: Orders are now being taken for tickets to the Cork v Tipperary Munster hurling semi-final in Cork on Sunday, 24th June. Ticket prices as follows: Covered Stand – €30; Uncovered Stand – €25; Terrace – €15; Family (Covered stand) Adult €30 + Juveniles €5; Family (Uncovered stand) Adult €25 + Juveniles €5.
Student/OAP – Concession on Stand Tickets only – pay full price and get a refund of €10 at specified Stiles on the day (on production of valid I.D.). All orders to be with Shane Brophy (0876989612) by Monday, 18th June.
Christy Ring Cup: Congratulations to Tony Hogan who was on the London panel that won the Christy Ring Cup in Croke Park on Saturday last, defeating Wicklow in the final.
Cúl Camp: This years Kellogg’s Cul Camp will be held in Moatfield between 16-20 July from 10am-2.30pm daily. Cost is €55 for 1 child; €100 for 2 children; €140 for 3 children. The camp is open to juveniles between the ages of 6 & 13. Each juvenile will get a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp jersey and gear bag. First Aid and Defibrillator Training: Anyone interested in taking part in this training course is to contact Shane Brophy (0876989612).
Gym: Our Gym is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm. There is also a special class on a Thursday evening for those who wish to train at a slower pace from 7-8pm. Gym cost is €3 per member or €5 for non members.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Brian McDermott. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
