Golf Classic: The winners from our recent Golf Classic were
1st. 100points – P.J. Starr / Pat Flanagan / T.J. O’Callaghan / Liam Horan. 2nd. 95 points – Darren Gleeson / Darragh Egan / Damien Ryan / Mike Moloney. 3rd. 94 points – Pascal Moran / Ina Moran / Barry Moran / Martin Kennedy
Mens Longest Drive: Sean McEntee. Mens Nearest to pin: Brian Guinan. Ladies Longest drive: Maura Flannery. Ladies Nearest to pin: Ina Moran.
Congratulations also to Brendan Carroll who managed a hole in one on the 14th hole during the event.

Senior: Despite a poor performance, our seniors progressed to the quarter finals of the Seamus O’Riain Cup with a 3-17 to 1-9 win over Cashel King Cormacs on Sunday last. See Match Report. We await the draw for the quarter finals which will be played in August.

U21: Our North Quarter Final against Kildangan takes place in Cloughjordan on Tuesday next, 28 July at 7.30pm.

Minor: The minors lost to Templederry by 3-12 to 1-12 in the second round of the championship last Thursday. Goals either side of half time proved too much to claw back despite a brave effort. Our next game is away to Newport on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

U16: The Under 16’s took on Moneygall on Monday evening last. News next week. Check Bord na nOg fixtures for next Monday’s opponents.

U14: The Under 14’s were defeated by Borris-Ileigh in Borrisoleigh last Wednesday evening. They cannot qualify for the semi-finals but still have one game to play against Ballina

VHI Cul Camps: The Lorrha GAA VHI Cul Camp began on Monday morning last.

Tipp Draw: Congratulations to Margaret Gleeson who won €200 in the County Board Draw last month.

Munster Final: Hard luck to Patrick & Kevin Maher and Ken Hogan following the Tipp Under 21’s defeat to Waterford last week.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 13 July were: 5 – 15 –16 – 26. No Winner.
The Lucky Dips were: Bríd O’Meara, Paddy Kennedy (The Lake), Billy Kennedy, Willie Lambe and Sean Lane. The Winning Promoters were: Pat Hough, Martina Houlihan and Agnes Sherlock
All lotto draws take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Monday night. The draw takes place at 10pm and all are welcome to attend. Thank you for your continued support.

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing resumes on Friday night to the music of J&S Sound. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.

Sympathy: Lorrha GAA club would like to sympathise with the Fogarty and Houlihan families on the death of Teresa White who died last week. May she rest in peace.
