Lorrha GAA News for 29 November

AGM: The Annual General Meeting takes place on Saturday, 6 December at 8.15pm in the GAA Clubhouse. All members are asked to attend. Nomination and motion papers have been forwarded to all members and must be returned to Shane Brophy by this Sunday night, 30 November.

Congrats: The club would like to congratulate and wish the best of luck to John McIntyre on his appointment as Galway senior hurling manager and his endeavours to win an All Ireland but at the expense of Tipp in the process.

Jerseys: There are still some of the new jerseys available but stocks are running out fast so get yours as an ideal Christmas present. Polo-shirts, juvenile jackets, shorts and socks are also available while stocks last. All can be purchased from Shane Brophy.

Lotto: The numbers drawn on 18 November were: 7 – 12 – 12 – 25. No Winner.
The Lucky Dips were: Annie Phelan, Patricia O’Dowd, Jack Gleeson, Michéal Deane and Shane O’Meara. The Winning Promoters were: Margaret Gleeson, Kevin Maher, Louis McCormack.

All lotto draws now take place in the GAA Clubhouse. The draw takes place around 10pm and all are welcome to attend.

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing continues in the GAA Clubhouse on Friday night to the music of Country Pride. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
