Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €15,000. If our jackpot is not won, it will be capped at €15,000 with the roll over going onto the new jackpot which will start at €8,100. Under 21 Hurling: Hard luck to our U21 hurlers who came out the wrong side of a one point defeat to Borris-Ileigh in the North 'B' semi-final last Sunday. Despite scoring 5-6, it wasn't enough to progress to the final despite another spirited performance. Thanks to the players and mentors Hubert Hogan, Shane Brophy, Aidan McIntyre and Joe Dolan for their efforts this year.

Under 21 Football: The U21's are still in the hunt for silveware when they face Borrisokane in a rearranged North semi-final in Ballingarry this Sunday at 12pm.

Junior Hurling: The Junior 'B' Hurling League Final against Kildangan is due to be played in the coming weeks, check North Board fixtures.

Junior Football: Lorrha will take part in the North Championship, which will take place in the coming weeks.

Sean Ghael Award: Congratulations to Jo Needham who has been nominated for a Tipperary Sean Ghael award and she will receive it at the annual ceremony in The Dome, Semple Stadium, this Sunday.

Jo has been a great servent to the club as juvenile secretary from 1985 to 1990 before going onto become secretary of North Tipperary Bord na nOg from 1990 to 1999. Her promotion of Gaelic Games as principal of Redwood National School led to many boys and girls going onto represent the club with great distinction.

Tour of Duty: Best wishes to Jack Maher who has left for the Lebanon with the Irish army on his latest tour of duty.

Juvenile AGM: The Juvenile AGM will take place in the GAA Centre on Wednesday, 3rd December at 8.30pm; all parents of players and coaches are asked to attend.

Auction: The annual Sale of Work, Timber Auction and Indoor Market will take place at the GAA Centre on Sunday, 14th December at 2pm. If anyone has any trees to donate, contact any committee member.

AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Lorrha GAA Club will take place on Tuesday, 16th December at 8.00pm. Nomination forms have been issued by email but if anyone want one posted to them, contact Shane Brophy. Anyone with any financial issues should contact treasurer Declan O'Meara before the books are closed to be prepared.

Social & Presentation Night: The Club will hold a Social & Presentation Night in the Clubhouse on Saturday, 27th December at 9.30pm where everyone involved with the club in any way over the past year are invited to attend what should be a festive occasion. More information in the coming weeks.

Referees Course: Tipperary County Board are looking for new referees to take part in a course in the New Year. Lorrha are one of 25 clubs in thew county that do not have an active referee and we would like to address this. If anyone is interested in becoming a refere, email your contact details to referee.recruitment.tipperary@gaa.ie

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Brendan McGee. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am. Social Dancing on Monday nights at 8pm.
