Lorrha GAA News for 5 April

Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €15,000. If our jackpot is not won by the time it reaches €15,000, it will be capped with the roll over going onto the new jackpot which will start at €3000. Thank you for your continued support. You can also play our lotto online at www.locallotto.ie where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.

Senior: Lorrha's next competitive game is in the first round of the County Championship against Carrick Davins on weekend 12-13 April.

Junior: The Junior 'B' hurlers game with Borris-Ileigh did not take place last weekend as Borris-Ileigh have pulled out of the league. The team did get a valuable challenge game in with Burgess. Our next game is at home to Newport. Check North Bord fixtures for details.

Under 21 Football: Once again, the U21 Football semi-final v Borrisokane failed to take place last week. Check North Bord fixtures for possibility that the game takes place this weekend.

Minor Football: The Minor footballers get their campaign underway against Borrisokane in Moatfield on Wednesday (this evening) at 6.15pm

Under 14: The U14's begin their Football Championship campaign on Wednesday (this evening) against Portroe in Moatfield at 6.30pm

Under 12: Well done to the U12's who defeated Templederry in their second game last Saturday. This Friday, Lorrha face Ballinahinch in Shallee at 6.30pm.

Tipperary: Well done to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary hurlers on their National League quarter final win over Cork and the footballers who were promoted in the National League last weekend.

Membership: Deadline has now passed. Thanks to all those who registered as members which helps with the running of the club. Membership is still acceptable but members won't have voting rights come the AGM.

Easter Camp: Lorrha GAA Club will be hosting an Easter Camp in Moatfield between Wednesday 23rd and Friday 25th April from 10am to 1pm each day. Cost is €20 per child.

Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw: We ask all promoters to keep their subscribers up to date as we come towards the end of the current draw.

Social Dancing: continues in the GAA Clubhouse on Friday night to the music of Tony Nugent. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
