Lorrha GAA News for 5 November

November 8, 2018

U21 Hurling: The Under 21 hurlers exited the championship on Monday afternoon, losing 1-10 to 0-10 to Shannon Rovers Gaels after extra time in Cloughjordan. Lorrha held the upper hand for long stages but the concession of a goal midway through the second half brought Rovers Gaels back into the match and in extra time pushed on for victory. Thanks to the players and mentors for their effort and this rounds off our on-field club activity for the year.

Thomas MacDonaghs: Best of luck to Kevin Maher and the Thomas MacDonaghs team in the County Senior Football final against Moyle Rovers in Cashel on this Sunday, 6 November @ 2.30pm. All support for this divisional team which includes Lorrha as part of it’s make-up would be appreciated.
