Under 21: Lorrha will play Toomevara in the first round of the Under 21 ‘A’ Hurling Championship. Check North Bord fixtures for possible game this weekend.
Junior Football:Lorrha bowed out of the Junior ‘A’ Football Championship following a 2-8 to 0-11 defeat to Shannon Rovers in Ballingarry on Saturday night. Thanks to the players and management of Joe Dolan, Graham Downes and Michael Sullivan for their efforts.
Halloween GAA Camp: There will be a Lorrha GAA Camp running for three days in Moatfield GAA Complex from 29th to 31st October from 10am- 1pm Daily. Cost €20 per child. Age’s 5-12 year old. Everyone Welcome! Contact James Dunne 0876255148 or Katie Kennedy 0851798015 to book.
Juvenile AGM: will take place in the GAA Centre on Wednesday, 16th October at 8pm.
Camogie: Best of luck to the Lorrha junior camogie team in their county semi-final against Thurles Sarsfields in The Ragg this Sunday.
Dates for your Diary: Auction – Sunday, 16th December; Senior club AGM – Tuesday, 18th December at 8.00pm.
First Aid Course: Lorrha GAA are planning on holding a first aid course in the coming months. Places are limited to ten and all those interested are to contact secretary Shane Brophy.
Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw: We would ask all the draw promoters and subscribers to bring their accounts up to date ahead of the October draw which takes place this Friday night.
Gym Membership: (All rates are inclusive of club membership rates above) Adult Players – €150 (€50+€100); Non-Playing member – €150 (€30+€120); Student – €100 (€20+€80); Family (2+2) – €200 (€80+€120); Non club member – €150. Sympathy: Lorrha GAA club would like to sympathise with the Kennedy family, Newtown, on the death of John Woods, Birr who died last week. May he rest in peace.
