Lorrha GAA News for 5 September

All Ireland: Best of Luck to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary team in this Sundays All Ireland Hurling Final. Bring it home lads.

Senior: Lorrha have been drawn to play Kildangan in the semi-final of the Seamus O’Riain Cup. The game will be played on Sunday, 13 September.

Minor: Our minors exited the championship last Tuesday at the hands of Toomevara. In a competitive game in Borrisokane, the sides were level at seven points apiece at half time but Toome slowly edged away after half time to win by 0-19 to 0-14. Thanks to the players and mentors for their efforts throughout the year.

U16: The Under 16’s will play Kildangan Gaels in the ‘B’ semi-final on the weekend of 11-13 September.

Tipperary: Philip Hogan was on the Tipp U15 squad that was due to have played in the Carrigdhoun tournament last weekend but it was rained off.

Tipperary Draw: Congratulations to Mrs Mai Guinan Redwood who won fifth prize in this months county board draw of a holiday or television worth €1000. Congrats also to her promoter Margaret Gleeson who won €200.

Lotto: All lotto draws take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Monday night. The draw takes place at 10pm and all are welcome to attend. Thank you for your continued support.

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing resumes on Friday night to the music of Unity. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
