All Ireland Final: Best wishes to Patrick Maher, Ken Hogan and the Tipperary senior hurling team in the All Ireland Final on Sunday.

Lotto: The numbers drawn last week were: 7 – 9 – 15 – 28. No Winner.

Lucky Dips: Noreen Foote, Eamon Maher Jnr, David & Kathleen Dunne, Mick Hough, Eugene & Mary Kennedy. Promoters: Margaret O'Brien, Barry Gleeson, Shane Brophy.

Our jackpot now stands at €15,000. If our jackpot is not won, it will be capped at €15,000 with the roll over going onto the new jackpot which will start at €6,150. Senior: Lorrha are awaiting the draw for the last 16 of the County Championship. This game will be played after the divisional championships have been completed and with Tipperary now in the All Ireland final, will be played on weekend 20-21 September at the earliest.

Junior Hurling: Lorrha defeated Kildangan 0-22 to 0-9 in their fourth game of the championship last Saturday evening in Borrisokane and have now qualified for the North semi-final. We now await the quarter finals before knowing our opponents.

The League Final against Kildangan will not be played this weekend.

Junior Football: Training in Moatfield on Thursday at 7.30pm.

Hospice Fundraiser: The Club are hosting a fundraising night for Milford Hospice in the GAA Centre on Saturday, 4th October. Tickets on sale for €10 which include entry into the draw for numerous prizes. Your support would be appreciated.

Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Pat & Richie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am. There are also Social Dancing classes each Wednesday night in the GAA Centre from 8-11pm for both beginners and those looking to improve.
