Adjourned AGM: The Adjourned AGM of Lorrha GAA club will take place on Monday, 30 March at 8.30pm sharp. A number of issues from the AGM have been carried over plus we will have full information on the proposed development works.
Senior: Lorrha will travel to Moneygall in the first round of the County Senior Hurling League on Sunday, 15 March. Éire Óg Annacarty will come to Moatfield in the second round while our third and final game will be against Upperchurch/Drombane.
Junior: The Junior ‘A’ Hurling league starts on weekend 21-22 March at home to Kilruane MacDonaghs. Roscrea, Borris-Ileigh and Nenagh Éire Óg are also in the group.
Under 21: With the Under 21 championship set to get underway in the next month, we would call on all those that have not returned to training to do so this Friday and Sunday.
Indoor Hurling: Indoor hurling continues in Lorrha Hall on Friday night at 7pm with Team 5 in charge.
SuperValu Promotion: The club has signed up for the SuperValu ‘Kids in Action’ promotion. A range of sports equipment can be obtained for the club through a collection of tokens earns when shopping in any SuperValu store. We would appreciate that those who collect the tokens would pass them onto Juvenile Secretary Niall Brophy by early March.
Membership: Membership for 2009 is now available. €40 – Adult Players; €20 – Non Playing Adults; €15 – Minor/College Students and Juveniles (with match ticket entry); €10 – Juveniles (without match ticket entry). All players must have their membership paid before the start of the league and all membership is payable to club registrar Jack Maher or any committee member.
Tipp Draw: With just two draws left on the 08/09 draw, all those will outstanding payments should contact their ticket seller asap.
Merchandise: Jerseys: 2 x size 5-6 – €35; 5 x size 9-10 – €35; 1 x medium; 2 x XL – €45; 2 x XXL – €45. Polo-shirts: 1 x XL – €15. Juvenile jacket size 10-11 is €30. Club crested shorts, 2 x 36 inch are €15 and socks are also available while stocks last. All can be purchased from Shane Brophy on 086-0515324.
Lotto: The numbers drawn this week were: 15 – 16 – 19 – 20. No Winner.
