Lorrha GAA News for 9 January

Under 21: The North Under 21 'B' Hurling semi-final against Portroe was finally played last Saturday at the University of Limerick's all-weather pitch and the lads produced a superb display to win 2-16 to 2-14 with the goals coming from Eoin McIntyre and Jamie Lewis. Speedy recovery to Conor Hogan who picked up a knee injury during the game.

Lorrha will play Borris-Ileigh in the final this Sunday, 10th January at 12 noon. Venue to be confirmed. We ask all Lorrha supporters to attend to cheer on the lads.

Auction: The Auction, Sale of Work and Wheel of Fortune will take place on Sunday, 17th January at 2pm.

Lorrha CountryFest: Tickets (€20) are available from Kevin Molloy for this years Country Music Festival at Moatfield which takes place on Sunday, 17th July.

Social Dancing: on Friday night to the music of Checkers. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.

Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Touhy family on the death of Marrie Touhy, Kilregane, who died tragically before Christmas. May she rest in peace.
