Lorrha GAA News for Saturday 24 October

Senior: The Club would like to thank the Ferry Inn for providing the post-match food following the recent O’Riain Cup Final.

Camogie: Hard luck to the Lorrha camogie team that was defeated in the Munster quarter-final last Sunday.

College Bursaries: Application forms are now available for third level students for the GAA’s National Bursaries scheme. If granted, bursaries are worth €1000 per year. There is also an additional scheme for those that attend college in Munster. Closing date is 1 November.

Support Your Club: If you are a Vodafone customer you can now support the Lorrha club by signing up to Vodafone Support Your Club for free. At absolutely no cost to you 5% of your monthly bill or top up will go directly to the club. Club members and supporters also need to register at www.supportyourgaaclub.ie

Lotto: The numbers drawn this week were: 14 – 19 – 29 – 30. No Winner.

All lotto draws take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Monday night. The draw takes place at 10pm and all are welcome to attend. Thank you for your continued support.

Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing resumes on Friday night to the music of Pat & Richie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.

Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the Moran family on the death of Ger Moran, formerly of Ballymcegan who died recently. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.
