Lotto Jackpot and U-21

November 8, 2018

After a long run, the Kiltormer GAA Lotto was finally won on Saturday night last.  The lucky winner was former Club Chairman, Laurence Larkin and there was widespread delight that a local person came up trumps.  The draw was held in Mother’s Bar, Kiltormer.  Laurence has been one of the staunchest supporters of the lotto since its inception and it is fitting that he should win one of our biggest jackpots.  The Lotto will resume next week with a starting jackpot of €5,000.

In other news, the U-21 team progressed to the quarter final stage of the championship with a hard fought, one point win over Clarenbridge.  Kiltormer were in control for much of the game, but a spirited fightback by Clarenbridge left the result in doubt right up to the final minutes.  The next round is not due to be played until the end of June, so we wish all the lads involved in the Senior and Junior Championships the very best of luck.
