LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES AS OF MONDAY DECEMBER 17th 2007

Congratulations the U21 hurlers who overcame Cuala in the Championship semifinal on Saturday and now await final opponents in the New Year. Our Annual Christmas Draw was held on Saturday night. Congratulations to Marie Driver who scooped the 3,000 euro cash prize sponsored by Ballymore Properties. June O’Carroll took the second prize of 1,500 euros sponsored by Stagg Cycles; while the ‘Regan Civil Engineering’ sponsored 1,000 euro third prize was won by Carmel Callaghan. There were also 37 other lucky winners. Thanks to all sponsors, sellers and buyers. The Christmas Party for the parents of Juvenile players takes place on Saturday 22nd. – from 9 pm until late. The annual St. Stephens Day challenge – Married v Singles – matches start promptly at 1.30 pm. The ClubShop will be open this Wednesday 7.30 – 8.30pm and again on Saturday 10.30 – 11.30 pm and will then close until January 19th. Don’t leave it too late!
