LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY June 11th 2012
There was a fabulous atmosphere in our clubhouse last Sunday night for the European Championships.Hopefully we can recreate the same for Ireland’s next two matches. Our under 13 girls footballers defeated St. Judes in their final league game to ensure they finished joint top of the league for 2012. This is a fantastic achievement by the girls who have shown great improvement throughout the year. It is unclear at the moment if a playoff will be scheduled to determine the outright league winners but regardless, the girls can be hugely proud of their achievements. Great wins for our Junior A Hurlers in championship and Junior B Footballers in cup matches at the weekend. A list to book tickets for Dublin v Kilkenny Leinster semi final will be on the notice board in the clubhouse until 10pm Sunday June 17th. You can now register for our summer camps on our website www.lucansarsfields.ie .The cost this year is €55. Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 continue every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. Camogie nursery at 2:30pm for girls aged 6 and over. This is your child’s chance to be coached by Dublin Senior Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey.This weeks lotto numbers 3-4-13-23. No winner.Next week’s jackpot willl be €8000.
