LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY OCTOBER 1st 2012
Both our minor hurling teams are out in championship action this Sunday morning at 11am. The A’s play Kilmacud Crokes in Silver Park while the B’s take on Raheny at the 12th Lock. 25 Card Drive resumes on Friday 12th October until May 2013. Time: 9.00pm Sharp. Prize: 1st €50, 2nd prize if 3 or more tables.Entry: €5 per person Venue: Lucan Sarsfields Clubhouse (Bar).Accumulator: Records will be kept of the number of games won nightly by all players (in the 12 games played at each table) over the season. Entry fees, in excess of the prizes paid each night, will be accumulated as prizes for the top 2 players over the full season. Everyone is welcome- from beginner to those who played years ago and would like to resume playing. We are planning more nights for gumshield fittings. If interested contact secretarybng.lucansarsfields.dublin@gaa.ie . It will be mandatory from January 1st for all juvenile footballers to wear gumshields. Our nurseries now take place every Saturday on our All Weather Pitch at our clubhouse grounds at The 12th Lock. Football and Hurling for boys born in 2006, 2007 and 2008 1:30pm to 3pm. Football for girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 1:30pm to 2:15pm and Camogie for girls aged 6 and over 2:15 to 3:00. No need to pre-register. Set Dancing classes take place every Wednesday @ 8.30pm. Everyone welcome, no partner required. This weeks lotto numbers 9-12-16-19. No winner. Next weeks jackpot will be €3000.
