LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES TUESDAY MARCH 20th 2012
Thank you to everybody who represented us in the Lucan Patrick’s Day Parade and made our entry such a great success. Please observe the markings in our car park as one person parking on a yellow line can cause chaos for everyone else. Well done to our junior A and senior hurlers who both had good wins in the Leinster League on Monday. This weeks Lotto Numbers 1-3-7-20. No winner. Next Sunday’s jackpot will be € 2000. Edel Mooney’s team will be in charge next Sunday when our sponsor will be Newcastle Golf Centre. Our Golf Society outings for this year are Kileen on April 21st,Castlewarden on May 17th, Castleknock on June 9th, Lucan on July 20th (Golf Classic), Luttrellstown on August 18th, Hermitage on September 13th and The K Club on October 6th. The heats for our Sars Stars talent contest will take place on 14th and 21st of April with the grand final taking place on Saturday April 28th.Our school of excellence takes place from April 2nd to 5th for 12 to 14 year olds. Contact you mentor for more details. The social initiative groups literary pub crawl is this Thusday 22nd and their trip to Belfast will be on April 12th. Set dancing classes – Every Wednesday 8.30 – 10pm in the function room of the clubhouse .Our nurseries for boys and girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 are every Saturday at 1.30pm on our all weather pitch at The 12th Lock. This is your child’s chance to be coached by Dublin Senior Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey. Opening times for our club shop are Tuesday and Thursday 7.30-8.30 and Saturdays 10.30-11.30.
