Well done to our 2008 U21 hurlers who won the “A Championship” title on Saturday after a nail-biting encounter in Russell Park. ‘Goal of the Year/Century’ describes Kevin O’Reilly’s magnificent free to take the teams into extra-time. With pitch call-offs, little happening over the weekend; however the U14B, U15 and U16B footballers had good wins to start their 2009 campaign.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting takes place on Thursday 12th February at 9.00pm. All full adult members are asked to attend. A Consultation Document on Facilities Development at the 12th Lock is available in the Club for Members. The issues will be discussed at the AGM. “25” Cards continue every Friday night at 8.30pm.
