A glorious weekend for our Juvenile football teams this past weekend, with the U13Bs capturing the ‘C’ Championship; the U13As taking the ‘A’ Shield and the U15s also taking the ‘A’ Shield. Our Senior footballers play the ‘B’ Championship semifinal tomorrow Wednesday in Balgriffin at 8 pm. Our U21 start their Championship campaign against Cuala in the 12th Lock on Saturday at 2.30 pm. Tickets for our Annual Christmas Draw are now being distributed to all players. Your help in selling these is needed as this is our most important fundraiser of the year. Nominations are now being taken for the 2008 Club Person of the Year Award. The final heat of Juvenile Sars Stars is on Sunday next with four more entrants from 5pm in the Clubhouse. Our third in the series Table Quiz takes place next Wednesday (19th) with Gerry Mescall in the chair.
