MacGearailt transfers to Ballygarvan
Comhairle na Mumhan has approved the transfer of Aodán MacGearailt from an Gaeltacht to Ballygarvan GAA club. Now resident in Ballygarvan , Aodán will bring a wealth of experience to the Ballygarvan Club having won an All Ireland Football medal with Kerry in 2000 and played in the 2004 All Ireland Club final with his former Club.
Home of Liam Mac Cárthaigh, Ballygarvan were county football finalists in 2008 and were Junior hurling Cork County and Munster champions in 2004. This announcement will further boost the ambition of this progressive rural club and their quest to be Cork County Junior Football champions in 2009.
