Mayo Gaels recorded an impressive win against The Neale in the third round of the U13 Division 1B (fifteen a-side) League played in Abbey Park on Tuesday the 2nd of September.
The Mayo Gaels victory was built on an excellent first half team performance where excellent movement, passing and point taking (particularly from man of the match James Jennings) resulted in a half-time lead of 3:10 to 0.01.
The Gaels were in total control of proceedings in the second half and of particular encouragement to management and supporters was the outstanding performance of the eight subs that were on the field at the final whistle.
The U13’s next outing will be against Castlebar Mitchells in Munnelly Park, Castlebar on Saturday the 7th of September (this fixture may be subject to change).
