Mayo Gaels were easy winners against a surprisingly muted Kilcommon side in the semi-final of the U14 Division 5 League played in Abbey Park on Thursday the 30th of May.
Played in perfect conditions the Gaels quickly gained a stranglehold at midfield and with good movement and accuracy from the forwards the lads established a significant lead by half-time.
Kilcommon bravely battled in the second-half however the Gaels were in unforgiving mood and the game as a contest had petered out well before the full time whistle was blown.
There were excellent performances from all players however the displays of Conor Jordan, Aaron Commons, James Jennings, Ronan Commons and Sean Joyce were particularly prominent on the day.
The U14’s will play the Divisional League final against Eastern Gaels in McHale Park, Castlebar on Saturday the 8th of June at 6.30pm and all Club members and supporters are asked to turn out in good numbers to support the lads.
