Ms.Anderson explained:
‘As MEP one of the most important communities I represent in the European Parliament is the fishing community.
‘With the imposition of quotas from Europe, it is vital that I as MEP for the 6 counties, am constantly seeking the views of the people that this has an affect on. That includes not just fishermen, but distributors, producers and even restaurants.
She continued:
‘Its is for this reason that I want to invite all of these interested parties, from skippers and deckhands to shop owners and seafood restaurants to join me at this meeting and air their thoughts.’
