MFC (B) Clonmore 1-19 Slaney Rangers 0-8

After a hard fought first half, which ended 0-7 to 0-6, Clonmore’s half back line shut up shop and the midfield & forwards cut loose to run out comfortable winners. The win was marred by what looked like a serious knee injury to wing-back Stephen Doyle who was having a fine game and had been moved into centre back earlier in game.
