Minor 'B' C'ship: Clonmore 4-12 Kildavin/Clonegal 0-4

November 8, 2018

In contrast to their previous game, Clonmore burst out of the blocks and had this game won by half-time when the score read 3-8 to 0-2.

Playing an intelligent brand of skillfull, fast moving football, Clonmore dominated from start to finish and three well worked goals by Dale McNamara (2) and Shane McGrath ended the game as a contest. The lads showed outstanding teamwork and support play throughout and their tackling and blocking was first class. A well taken goal by James Shannon in the dying minutes was the icing on the cake. Based on recent form the Minors can look forward to the semi-finals with confidence and with any luck the Cup will be staying in Clonmore for another year.
