Minor Hurling
Our Minor hurlers played their second game of the Championship last Wednesday in Monroe where Ballybacon/Grange were our opponents. Unfortunately we came up short at the final whistle once again and lost on a final score of 3-12 to 1-11. The team on the day was: Michael Boland, Harry Butler, Conor Duggan, Eoin Ryan, Jesse McCormack, Eoin O'Donovan, Stephen Crotty, Joey Noonan, Barry O’Dwyer, Frank Meagher, Niall Keane, Shane Hannigan, Niall Mockler, Brian Anglim, Liam Quigley, James Fitzgerald.
Under 16 Hurling
On this Monday 8th August we play Grangemockler-Ballyneale at 7.00 in Anner Park Cloneen. On Monday 15th August we play Ballybacon-Grange in Goatenbridge at 7.00. On Monday 29th August we play Knockmealdown Gaels at 7.00 in Anner Park Cloneen and on Monday 5th September we play Killenaule at 7.00 also in Anner Park Cloneen.
Under 14 Hurling
On Sunday last our under 14 hurlers defeated Carrick Swans by 6-16 to 1-3. The team was Matt McCormack, Fergal Keane, Keith Morrissey, Jack Cleere, Robert Barton, Luke Fox, Aidan Fitzgerald, Jack Cuddihy, Cian Crannitch, Tommy O’Brien, Angus McDonald, Jamie Brett, Cathal Foley, Ryan Crannitch, Denis Clancy, Bill Cuddihy, Evan White.
On Thursday 11th August we play Mullinahone at 7.00 in Mullinahone.
Under 12 Hurling
On Friday evening last our under 12 hurlers drew with Ballingarry. Players in action were: Bill Cuddihy, Conor Brett, Eoin Fitzgerald, James Ryan, Evan White, Brian O’Halloran, James Hogan, Pat Moroney, Daithi Hogan, William Cleere, Jack Cleere, Robbie Noonan.
The South Tipperary semi finals will be played this weekend. Details were not available as we went to print.
